NYK Rangat Celebrates Bapus 150th Birth Anniversary

Port Blair, Oct 25: As a part of celebration of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th Birth Anniversary the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat in collaboration with Voice of Compassion to India (NGO), Rangat organized one day Awareness and Education Programme on Positivity on 25/10/2018 at the hall of Voice of Compassion to India, NGO, Rangat in order to create awareness and motivate youth to take lead in promoting Positivity and brotherhood in their day to day life as well as work towards EK Bharat Shreshstha Bharat.
Altogether 80 participants participated from different places of Rangat area. On the occasion Mr. Anil Bepari, Up Adhyaksh, North and Middle Andaman was the chief guest and inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp in presence of other guests.
In his speech the chief guest appreciated the efforts of NYK, Rangat and Voice of Compassion to India, NGO, Rangat and said that nothing is impossible for a man having positivity and zeal. Under the programme the topic on Volunteerism, Leadership, Civic Education, Drug Abuse and alcoholism, first aid and voluntary blood donation, Disaster and other natural calamities: rescue operations and security, training in fire fighting, speech on works of Mahatma Gandhi etc. were covered and delivered by various resource persons from A&N Fire Service, Rangat, Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College, Mayabunder, Rtd. Teachers and NGO. Earlier Mr. Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Rangat welcomed the chief guest as well as gathering and briefed about the awareness and education programme.
