Port Blair, Nov 29: The Police Training School, Prothrapur, A&N Islands organized One day course on “Guidelines And Investigation Procedure for U/S 498A IPC” on 17.11.2018 for IO’s / SHO’s in Districts for improving the knowledge about “Guidelines And Investigation Procedure U/S 498A IPC” under the supervision of Mr. Manoj.C, IPS, Principal PTS. During the course Mr. Michael Raj, DANIPS VP/PTS, Mr. Anando Halder, Ld. Spl.PP.(Addl. Sessions Court) and Mr. Mrinal Kr. Das.Ld. APP, Port Blair had delivered informative lecture like Guidelines, Definition of 498A IPC Cruelty by husband and his relatives, How to deal with the Complainant/Victim by the Police and adopt the procedure for registration of cases U.s 498A IPC, Procedure of Investigation & Arrest of accused as per the judgement passed by the Apex court of India, Important Do’s and Don’ts and related guidelines of Case etc. Altogether, 08 Upper Subordinate of A & N Police participated in the course, interacted and enriched themselves for initiating steps towards on effective implementation of law, Vice Principal, PTS concluded the training programme by emphasizing on the objectives of the course and its thorough implementation.
