One Held for Bootlegging and 104 Bottles IMFL Seized By PS Central Crime Station Staff

Port Blair, Dec 12: The staff of PS Central Crime Station consisting Sub Inspector V. Siva Kumar, Head Constables Abdul Nazar, K. J. Raffi, Constables Thangaraj, Ranjit Soreng, K. Rajendra under the supervision of Inspr. P. K. Abdul Arif, SHO, PS CCS, in its drive to wipe out the nuisance of illegal sale of liquor and bootlegging, carried out raid at Bathu Basti on 11/12/2018 and recovered 104 bottles Indian Made Foreign Liquors (IMFL). In this connection Arun Prasad S/o Mr. Periyaswamy R/o Naya Shahar was arrested and a case under excise Regulations has been registered against him. The raid was conducted under the overall supervision of Mr. R. K. Sharma, Dy. SP (CID).
The Police will continue to fight against this menace to eradicate the illegal trade of illicit liquor and IMFL from this Union Territory.
