Port Blair, May 25: Entertainment is an integral part of Tourism Industry. To entertain tourists and locals as well as promote budding artists, the Tourism Department has set up a platform at Waves Restaurants near to Corbyn’s Cove Beach.
The Tourism Department has a list of artists for giving performances every Saturday. Other than this, people interested to showcase their talent voluntarily in any field from music, dance, mimicry, skit, musical yoga, puppet show, magic show, poetry, choreography, standup comedy etc may enrol their names in the office of the Tourism Department by May 31, 2019. The Tourism Department will provide stage, plug point for connections while rest of the arrangements will have to be done by the artist. For enrolment, the details of the programmes, names, specific date of performance and duration of the programme may be submitted in the office of the Tourism Department, Manager (Tourism) Tel: 03192-244081 during working hours.
