Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi Accorded Warm Reception on his Arrival at Port Blair

Port Blair, Dec.29: The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi arrived on a two day visit to the A&N Islands here this evening. The visit of the Prime Minister is part of the 75th anniversary celebration of hoisting of Tricolor by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Indian soil on 30th December 1943 at Port Blair. The Union Minister of State for Communications (Independent Charge), Mr. Manoj Sinha is also accompanying the Prime Minister during his visit to the Isles.
On his arrival at the Airport, the Prime Minister was greeted by the Lt. Governor A&N Islands, Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd), Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Commander-in-Chief of Andaman & Nicobar Command, Vice Admiral Bimal Verma, the Prabhari, BJP, A&N Islands, Mr. Tarun Chugh, State President, BJP, Mr. Vishal Jolly, Ex-President, of BJP, A&N Islands, Mr. Hari Narayan Arora, PBMC Chairperson, Smt. Anusia Devi and other Office bearers of BJP, A&N Islands besides the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Mr. Chetan. B. Sanghi, DGP, Mr. Dependra Pathak, and other senior officers of A&N Administration.
