Port Blair, Mar 12: The general public residing in Municipal areas are notified that Port Blair Municipal Council supplies water and other civic to the Residents, Government and Commercial establishments. But, has being observed that most of the Residents, Govt. Departments and Commercial establishments are not paying the Municipal dues.
In this regard, once again all the beneficiaries are requested to make the payment of their Water and conservancy charges, Property tax and Markets Rents on or before the due date. It has also noticed that will be disconnected by PBMC. It has also noticed that huge arrears have been accumulated against the defaulter due to non-payment of the Water & Conservancy charges, Property tax and Market rents.
Municipal dues can be paid in the PBMC counter through Cash upto Rs. 2,000/-Debit & Credit Card/NEFT/Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, PBMC. Citizen can also pay their dues in any of the Common Service Centers (CSCs) and through online gateway by visiting website e-nagarsewaup.gov.in/india/home. However, the citizen needs to visit once to PBMC (Head Qtr.) to update their records. For convenience of the citizen, PBMC collection counter will be opened from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Saturday, said Revenue Officer, Municipal Council.
