Port Blair, Mar 20: On the 16th of March 2019, tourists and other visitors at the Corbyn’s Cove beach area witnessed a scintillating performance by the one of the leading musical troupes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands “The BRW (Music Wing)”.
Mr. Waahid Shah, Director BRW. Entertainment, who has been instrumental in various reforms of entertainment in these Islands, in a recent interview with a News Channel (Nation Live), had briefed about this concept of entertainment for the tourists, that was proposed by him to the then Chief Secretary & was happily accepted & implemented successfully. This idea had earned lots of praises from different sections of tourists & locals.
Most importantly it helped the youngsters to earn some bread & butter for themselves & their family members. Shah expressed his happiness over the revival of the programme, which is beneficial for both the guests & the hosts. Jubilant visitors were seen dancing & taking pictures with local senior performers Sajid Khan, Wafiya, Sunita, Wasi & Waahid Shah during the show. The tourists said that it was a pleasant surprise given to them by the A&N admin. They thanked the Department of Tourism for presenting such a wonderful musical evening with the quality entertainers of BRW.
