Port Blair, Nov 26: While commemorating the 75th year of hoisting of tricolour by Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Kala Kendra – a Society under the Department of Art & Culture organized a Quiz programme titled ‘Kaleidoscope – 3’on 26th November 2018 at Andaman Club, Port Blair. This programme was specially designed to create awareness about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his contribution in the Freedom Struggle. The Quiz programme was open for all age group above 10 to 18 years. Many teams from various schools took part in this programme, out of which 05 teams were selected for the final round. These five teams were named, Azad Hind, Swaraj, Shaheed, Swatantrata and Tiranga. Further there was a special round for audience also who were given attractive prizes for correct answers. Mr. M. Manoj, was the Quiz Master. The first prize was bagged by the team Tiranga consisting of Kr. Praveen, Kr. T. Uday Kumar and Kri. Sherin Johnson while second prize bagged by team “Shaheed” consisting of Kr. Shubham Sree Pradan, Kr. Mohit Sharma and Kr. Ankit. The team “Swaraj” of Kr. Rajeeb Biswas, Kr. Anshuman Singh and Kumari. Saranya Bhakuni adjudged for third Prize.
Dr. Navalendra Kumar Singh, Director (Art & Culture) was the chief guest on this occasion. The winning teams were presented with attractive prizes and certificates for their participation.
