Port Blair, July 01: RAAG the Music Academy has concluded its Summer Workshop 2019- 2020 with colourful cultural evening at Dr B. R. Ambedkar Auditorium, Port Blair on 30.06.2019, where Mr. Dependra Pathak, IPS, Director General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands was the Chief Guest and Dr Navalendra Kumar Singh, Director, (Transport /RD, Panchayat) Andaman& Nicobar Islands was the Guest Of Honour, Approximately 200 students of the academy showcased their talents beautifully on the stage. Western classical on keyboard and guitar drove the audience crazy. Melodious songs from Bollywood and Kathak dance mesmerised the audience. Western dance with peppy numbers were of course the highlight of the show. Adding with, the students of the academy also performed the acts on different themes.
Chief Guest Mr. Dependra Pathak, IPS, DGP A & N Islands has expressed his blessings and panegyrized the students along-with the RAAG Academy for their dedication and hard work. Dr. Navalendra Kumar, Director (Transport, RD/Panchayat) has also commended the students and academy boosting their moral.
Mr. Sujit Das, Founder & Director of RAAG, the Music Academy and President Mrs. Methu Dheeraj Singh congratulated the students for such a wonderful show and applauded the faculties of Kathak Dance Mr. Alex Victor G., Western Dance Mr. Suman Chakraborty, Guitar faculty Mr Avijit Biswas and Mr Abhinish Lall, Tabala faculty Mr Subrata Basak and Mr Depesh Bhattacharya, Vocal Faculty Mrs. Pallabi Das and all-over Keyboard and Guitar Guru Mr Sujit Das. They also appreciated the parents for supporting their children to follow their passion and live their dreams. Certificates were given to all the children in the event.
