Port Blair, Jan 20: It has being inform that all the four wheeler vehicle owners that using tinted glass/sunshade net or other materials on four wheelers windscreen are strictly prohibited as per the Supreme Court Order mentioned at Rule 100 (2) of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.
In spite of several instructions given through media and other sources, it has been observed by Traffic Police that still some vehicles are plying their vehicle with tinted glass/other material in the Port Blair city. Once again all the vehicle owners are directed by police to remove the tinted glass/sunshade net or other materials immediately from their vehicle otherwise suitable action will be taken against the violation of the order as per relevant rules, as said in a press release Superintendent of Police (Traffic), A&N Island.
