Port Blair, May 22: As part of the counting process for the Lok Sabha Elections -2019 to be held at the JNRM Counting Centre tomorrow (May 23), a briefing was organised in the ASI auditorium for the micro observers engaged in the counting process. The General Observers, Mr. Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma and Mr. Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma were also present on the occasion. Briefing the Micro Observers, the Returning Officer, A&N Island Parliamentary Constituency, Mr. Udit Prakash Rai apprised them about their duties & responsibilities on the day of counting. The micro observer will be responsible for the purity of the counting process in his allotted table, the RO added. A video on the role of micro observer was also screened for enlightening the micro observers about their specific roles in the counting hall.
