SA POLICE APPREHENDED ONE FOR KIDNAPPING A MINOR GIRL

A team of Police Station Aberdeen has solved a case of kidnapping and apprehended one person at East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh and recovered the victim girl.

On 15 May 2019, a complaint was received at PS Aberdeen regarding missing of a minor girl and accordingly a case of kidnapping was registered at PS Aberdeen. During the course of investigation, it was revealed that one Mr. Nakka Nagarjuna, 32yrs, R/o Dignabad might have enticed the victim girl and took her to some unknown place. Later, it has been revealed that the accused had travelled to Kolkata along with the victim minor girl.

Thus, a team comprising of SI P. Jeevan, HC Sunil Singh Yadav, PC Suresh & PC Ashima Mallick under the direction of Inspr. Sanjay Kumar, SHO PS Aberdeen and overall supervision of Shri Nishant Gupta, SDPO (S/A) was formed and sent to Andhra Pradesh for apprehending the accused and recovering the victim girl. After extensive search, the team succeeded to locate the suspect and recovered victim girl at Magam Village, Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The accused person namely Mr. Nakka Nagarjuna, 32yrs, R/o Dignabad confessed his guilt and he was arrested by Police and brought to Port Blair. He was produced before the Hon’ble Court, from where he was sent to judicial custody.
