Rangat, Dec 09: As a part of celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat in collaboration with Pinakinagar Yuva Samiti, Pinakinagar organized one day Sankalp Se Siddhi – Youth Empowerment Programme for New India on 08/12/2018 at Gram Panchayat Hall, Harinagar in order to make aware, educate and motivate youth to involve themselves and others in the process towards Clean India, Poverty Free India, Corruption Free India, Communalism etc. The programme 60 people from different places participated. On the occasion Mr. Uttam Mondal, Pradhan, Harinagar was the chief guest, he inaugurated the programme by the lighting the lamp in presence of Dr. P.K. Mondal, Lecturers, Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College, Mayabunder, Mr. B. Devraj, Chairman, Voice of Compassion to India (NGO), Rangat., Mr. Sanjay Biswas, teacher, Billiground. Earlier Mr. Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Rangat welcomed the chief guest and gathering. Under the programme the topics i.e. Flagship programme of Govt. of India, SHGs, Health, Hygiene and Sanitation, Corruption, Sprit of Nationalism & Civic Education, works of Mahatma Gandhi, women rights etc. were covered by various resource persons from Medical department, NGOs, Panchayat, Education department, Bank.
