Port Blair, Mar 08: Due to some urgent repair works, the services of vehicle ferry vessel MV Karmatang operating between Chatham – Bambooflat is withdrawn with effect from 09.03.2019. All out efforts are being made for early repair and deployment in the route between Chatham – Bambooflat. Owing to above withdrawal there may be restricted services of vehicle ferry available with effect from 9th March, 2019
The Directorate of Shipping Services however, regret the inconvenience caused to the commuter and request to cooperate.
