Port Blair, Nov 20: Today the State Names Authority of A&N Administration met under the chairmanship of Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Lt Governor of A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman Islands Development Agency, MP Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray and Chief Secretary Mr. Chetan B. Sanghi, were also present in the meeting along with Chairperson PBMC Smt. Anushiya Devi and co-opted academician Dr. N. Francis Xavier. Previously, since large number of Islands still remains unnamed while some require renaming, suggestion have been sought from Islanders through Public Notices.
