Kamorta, Dec 11: To fulfil the need and aspiration of the general public of Kamorta Island during the festive season, Transport Department has inducted one new bus in the feet of STS Unit Kamorta thereby strengthening the fleet of buses to 05 so as to provide efficient and seamless public transport in this remote island. The new bus was flagged off by Smt. Ayesha Majid, Chairman Tribal Council in presence of Mr. V K Jindal, Assistant Commissioner Kamorta, local public & employees of Transport Department also graced the induction ceremony. The general public expressed their gratitude to the Secretary (Transport) & Director (Transport) for their sincere effort for providing new buses for this remote island during the festive season.
