Port Blair, Dec 06: Keeping its commitment of zero tolerance against illegal activities, a week long special drive was conducted by PS Central Crime Station, CID unit against illegal sale of liquor from 28/11/2018 to 04/12/2018.During this period, 28 persons were arrested in 28 cases registered under excise regulation. During this drive, 115 nos. IMFL bottles were also recovered from the possession of accused persons. A&N Police is committed to fight against the menace of illegal trade of illicit liquor and IMFL in this Union Territory.
