Port Blair, Jan 29: As part of 42nd Coast Guard Raising Day celebrations, a visit by the school children was conducted in coordination with Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association under guidance of Mrs. Mohita Pathak, President Tatrakshika (A&N) onboard Indian Coast Guard Ships on 28 & 29 Jan 2019 at CG Jetty, Port Blair. The event was conducted in association with Directorate of Education & Directorate of Social Welfare, Port Blair and approximately 480 children and teachers from five schools of Port Blair visited the CG ships. The children were enthused with ship environment and queried about equipment onboard. On completion of visit the children were highly motivated and expressed desire to serve the nation as good citizen. The teachers who accompanied the student were also thankful to the authorities for arranging such a fruitful visit onboard Coast Guard Ships.
