Port Blair, Jan 16: The Written examination for admission to Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun for the Term commencing Jan-2020 will be conducted on 1st (Sat) and 02nd) (Sun) Jun-2019 in Tagore Govt. College of Education, Middle Point, Port Blair.
Only boys are eligible to apply for admission to RIMC. At the time of admission to RIMC (i.e. on 01 Jan-2020) the boy should either be studying in Class VII or should have passed Class VII form any recognized school. They should not be less than 111/2 years in age but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 01 Jan-2020 .i.e they should not be born earlier than 02 Jan 2007 and not later than 01 July 2008. The Prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained by speed post by sending a written request along with self addressed slip with an account payee bank demand draft of Rs. 600/- for General Candidates and Rs. 555/-for SC/ST Candidates along with Caste Certificate. The demand draft will be made in favour of The Commandant RIMC Dehradun, Drawee Branch, State Bank Of India, Tel Bhawan, Dehradun, (Bank Code-01576), Uttarakhand.
Applications in duplicate on prescribed form accompanied by documents to be attached with the application form two passport size photographs, Domicile Certificate, Birth certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat), SC/ST Certificate and Certificate from Principal of the School in original with photograph on it attested stating date of birth and in which class the student is studying. The filled in application form should be submitted to the Principal, Tagore Govt. College of Education, Port Blair on or before 31st March-2019. Kindly note the application forms must be sent to the respective State Government and not to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, else the form will be invalid.
The viva-voce test is to be conducted by the State Govts. On 04 (Fri) Oct – 2019 for only those candidates who gets qualified in the written examination.
