Port Blair, Apr 22: The District Administration, South Andaman in accordance with its ‘ZERO TOLERANCE’ policy towards Encroachment on Government land has taken another significant step towards protection of Government land in South Andaman District.
Accordingly a major eviction Drive was conducted in Port Blair Tehsil on 22/04/2019 at Bambooflat led by RI Ajith where 09 encroached in the shape of temporary structure made on Govt. land village Valluvar Nagar have been evicted from Government Revenue Land bearing Sy. No.16 approximate 1.00 Hects. have been cleared from encroachment.
General public is hereby cautioned to refrain from such unauthorized activities and encroachments, including buying and selling encroached land. In case of any violation found, stringent action will be taken. In case any of fresh encroachments are noticed, the general public can inform the District Control Room on toll free no. 1070.
