Cabinet Minister for Forests, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries in Maharashtra Government meets Fisheries Stake Holders of  A & N Islands

Port Blair, Mar 14:  Yesterday Shri Sudhir Sachchidanand Mungantiwar, Cabinet Minister for Forests, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries in Maharashtra Government met the Stake Holders of Fisheries for Andaman and Nicobar Island in Port Blair. During his visit he enlightened the stakeholders on the various schemes and programes of Ministry of Fisheries of Governement of India.

He also briefed, Padhan Mantri Mananiya Narendra Modi is very concerned about the fisheries sector and Andaman and Nicobar is playing a very important role in import and export of fiseries to the world. During his visit he also heard the difficulties faced by the Fishermen Community and assured that he would take up the issue with higher authorities.
