Port Blair, Jul 03: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Port Blair Regional Centre has organized the 27th Prof. G. Ram Reddy Memorial Lecture on 2nd July 2022 on the first floor of Regional Centre, Port Blair premises.
Dr.Nurul Hasan, Regional Director and the former Senior Regional Director Dr. S. Raja Rao paid floral tributes to Prof. G. Ram Reddy on this occasion. All the staff of the Regional Centre has participated in the programme. The main programme started at IGNOU, HQ, New Delhi through a live telecast on Gyandarshan.
Dr.RajkumarRanjan Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Education, Government of India, delivered a lecture on “Indian Education System in the Journey of 75 years of India’s Independence”. In his address, he focused on the development of the Indian Education System and highlighted the need for NEP-2020 for making India’s future ready with the required and trained human resources to face the challenges.
