Port Blair, Mar 15: MAKRUZZ, the leading ferry service provider in the Andaman Islands, recently organized an educational study tour for 50 students along with the teachers from GSSS Manglutan under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan UT Mission. The aim of the tour was to provide practical knowledge about cruise operations as part of the vocational education tourism subject curriculum.
During the tour, the students had the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into cruise operations, guided by industry experts. Mr. CS Ashok, Director of MAK Logistics, shared inspirational words and valuable insights with the students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams in the tourism industry. Additionally, Mr. Sumit Lall, General Manager and Mrs. Bindu Nair, Manager Reservations with Captain Bobby Giles at MAKRUZZ, provided an in-depth description of cruise operations, highlighting various aspects of the industry. MAKRUZZ extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Port Management Board and CISF for their invaluable support in conducting the event.
