Diglipur, June 07: As part of the ongoing “Zilla Pashasan Aapke Dwar” campaign, a Revenue Camp-Court under “Jan Sunvayi” an instrument of a social audit was held by the Tehsildar, Rangat at Panchayat Bhawan, Nilambur, Baratang in the morning hours today. Large number of Local residents, general public, PRI functionaries and officers and staff of the line departments participated in the Camp-Court.
As per report, various issues like deplorable road condition, irregular water and electricity supply, erratic BSNL’s service in the region were raised by the general public. Revenue-matters such as resurvey and regularization/resettlement were raised and were taken up for consideration. A number of land mutation cases were disposed of on the spot.
Pradhans, Gram Panchayat Nilambur and Sundergarh, Zilla Parishad Member Sundergarh apprised the Tehsildar, Rangat of the various issues concerning the local populace and expressed the hope that such Revenue Camp-Courts will speed up redressal of public grievances and accelerate developmental activities in the region, the report said.
