Port Blair, Nov 13: The State Child Protection Society (SCPS) under the Directorate of Social Welfare organized an informative and engaging awareness program on Child Rights and Responsibilities at PM Mr. GSSS Bambooflat yesterday. About 145 students participated in the programme.
Mrs. Rehaneth Begum, Programme Manager, SCPS shed light on the essence of Child Rights and emphasized on the fundamental importance of safeguarding the rights of children. Mrs. Komal Anand, Member of Child Welfare Committee (CWC), who was the resource person, discussed various aspects of Child Rights, safety. Swami Shudhananda Saraswati from Chinmaya Mission also spoke on the occasion.
