Port Blair, Sep 26: On 25th September 2023, CRC A&N-Islands in association with the Department of Arts & Culture, A&N-Islands and Sai Education Institute, Port Blair organized and performed a street play under SWATCHH BHARAT ABHIYAN at Cellular Jail by 4.45pm. The theme of the street play is “Importance of the sanitation needs for Disabled”.
The Director & Assistant Director, Department of Arts & Culture, A&N Administration also was present during the show. The Resident Nodal Officer and other staff of CRC A&N-Islands supported and encouraged the performers and also the public. The artists from the Department of Arts & Culture, A&N Administration and Sai Educational Institute enacted the barriers in the community for mobilization and also the importance of accessibility for Divyangjan.
The Public were interested in receiving the main motto of the programme from beginning till end of the programme. During the play awareness about the various acts and schemes for Divyangjan was also created.
