Port Blair, Apr 04: It has been observed that the nominated MP Candidate/party representatives are frequently visiting to Car Nicobar island and carrying out election campaigning/canvassing etc in respect of the upcoming election without obtaining any valid permission from the competent authority (DEO, Nicobars) which is in contravention to the terms and conditions prescribed by Election Commission of India and such movement without valid permission will not be allowed.
In this connection, the above concerned are requested to adhere the terms and conditions of ECI strictly and apply for permission through e- suvidha portal or send mail to electionnicobar@gmail.com or can also opt for offline permission through a letter addressed to District Election Officer, Nicobars with all the requisite details required for granting permission.
