Port Blair, Oct 22: As per the scheduled, Union Minister, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Ministry of State for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Chemicals & Fertilizers held a meeting with Senior Leaders, Elected Body and Party Workers at BJP Bhavan, Middle Point about 12.30 PM today.
Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President BJP, A&N Islands, welcomed the minister with flower bouquet. In his welcome address, he gave a brief introduction of the Minister and the ongoing projects of the ministry in these islands.
Minister explained the vision of the Modi Government and shared his review on the ongoing projects and future developmental works of A&N Islands. He said that Government is working for the benefits of every citizen of the nation and towards inclusive growth.
“To develop tourism sector in these islands infrastructure has to be develop through both the mode i.e by the government fund and PPP mode,” he said.
He also urged to strengthen the BJP Sangathan from Grass Root Level. Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, Elected Body Members, Councillors and Party workers were present in the meeting.
