Port Blair, Nov 03: The State Educational Achievement Survey (SEAS), PARAKH, for grades 3, 6, and 9 was successfully conducted in all sampled schools of Andaman & Islands on 3rd November 2023. About 6500 students from all nine educational blocks comprising 145 schools (All management schools) of Andaman and Nicobar Islands participated in SEAS 2023 conducted by the Ministry of Education and NCERT.
SEAS are a comprehensive assessment of schools across all blocks and districts in India. Its primary purpose is to evaluate the overall health of the education system at the block level, encompassing government, government-aided, and private schools. The findings from the survey play a pivotal role in informing policy-making, strategic planning, and the development of pedagogical interventions aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes at the grassroots level.
