Vaccination drive in A&N Islands

Port Blair, July 08: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,84,014doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,588 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years.24,624beneficiariesin the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 27,926.
A total of95eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 72beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which,8beneficiariesin the age group of 12 to 14 years,beneficiariesin the age group of 18 to 44 and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at39.
In North & Middle Andaman District, 23beneficiaries were vaccinated and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 23.
