Port Blair, June 12: BhartiyaJanta Party, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has organizedthe 8 Years Seva, Sushasan and GareebKalyan program to mark the completion of the eight year of forming a government at the center led by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.
The Government, in the last 8 years has also worked dedicatedly on improving the ease of living in the country with a major push towards infrastructure development focused on enhancing last mile connectivity to the remotest regions, reforms such as GST which have eased the burden on taxpayers, policies aimed at improving the lives of the underprivileged, National Education Policy-2020 and many more.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands has also witnessed development in the field of infrastructure and connectivity in these islands.The developmental projects in the pipeline are also aimed at enhancing the physical infrastructure in terms of road, air and sea connectivity.
8 Years Seva, Sushasan and GareebKalyan program, a 15 days outreach program starting from 31st May till 15th June 2022, various events are organized all across the Islands. On 31st May 2022 all 33 mandals of these islands had organized the telecast of national event and around 2000 people have witnessed Modi Ji’s speech. 155 beneficiaries under various schemes were felicitated.
Mananiya Gen. (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC (Retd.), Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport and Highway and Ministry of Civil Aviation, GoI had visited these islands on 5th June 2022 to celebrate this event. On 5th June a VikasTeerth Bike Rally was organized and the rally was flagged off by the Hon’ble Gen. (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh which was under the leadership of Mr.AjoyBairagi, State President, &Mr.Vishal Jolly, National Executive member of BJP and under the supervision of Mr.N K Uday Kumar President , BJYM and Mr.GauravGogia, State General Secretary, BJYM.
During the Jan Sabha at Capt. Ashim Bhattacharya Community Hall of Chouldari, Gen. (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC (Retd.), Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport and Highway and Ministry of Civil Aviation shared the achievements and the various developments planned for these islands.
On 6th June 2022, Mananiya Gen. (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singhvisited the Cellular jail which was under the leadership of Mr.AjoyBairagi, State President and Mr.K R Suresh, President, OBC Morcha and his team. An interactive meeting was held with all state officer bearer and officer bearer under the leadership of Gen. (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh, Mr.AjoyBairagi, State President and Mr.BishuPada Ray, Ex (MP) which was held on 6th June 22.
A District level VikasTeerth Bike Rally followed by GaribKalyan Jan-Sabha were organized on 8th and 9 June 22 at RangatanBilliground (North and Middle Andaman) this was under the leadership of Mr.AjoyBairagi, State President and Mr.Sanjay Kr Singh, State Vice President. 75 hours of Jan samparkdoor-to-door outreach were scheduled from 1 – 14 June, 2022 byall elected representatives of state and office bearers to reach the beneficiaries under various scheme of GoI.
All the morchaMahila, Kisan, OBC & Minority are organizing various sammelan, choupal, sah-bohj and felicitating beneficiaries at South Andaman, Port Blair City, North & Middle Andaman and Campbell Bay.
Dr. Poonam Arora, Convener of the Seva, Sushasan and GareebKalyan program shared the accomplishment of various events in these islands to the public and also announced the celebration of completion of 15 days door-to-door outreach camping of 8 Years Seva, Sushasan and GareebKalyan. This will be celebrated by paying respect to Martyrs at Captain Ashim Bhattacharya Park, Junglighat and the completion ceremony will take place in party karyalay by felicitating beneficiaries of different scheme related to Mahila, Kisan, OB , Minorities and Covid warriors.
