Port Blair, May 08: Andaman Sangeet Academy, Dairy Farm, Junglighat, Port Blair will celebrate the 162nd Birth Anniversary of “Biswakabi Rabindra Nath Tagore” on 09th May 2022.
The morning session of the programme will commence at Marina Park (in front of the statue of Rabindra Nath Tagore) at 7 am. Mrs. U. Kavitha, Chairperson of PBMC will be the Chief Guest at the occasion.
In the evening, a Cultural programme “Rabindra Sandhya” will start in the auditorium of Tagore Govt. College of Education, Middle Point, Port Blair at 6 pm. Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands will be the Chief Guest at the occasion. 5th issue of Souvenir named “Rabindra Arghya-2022” also be released at the programme.
