Port Blair, May 08: State Control Room, Directorate of Disaster Management, A&N Administration issued a Weather warning over the A&N Islands received from IMD Kolkata.
It is informed that on 11th and 12th May 2022, thunderstorm and lightening with gusty wind (30-40 kmph)likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands.
Due to the formation ofcyclonic storm ‘Asani’and its likely intensification with squally wind speed exceeding 70 kmphover Southeast Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea along and off A&N Islands. Fishermen are advised not to venture into thesea till 09th May 2022.
