Port Blair, Sep 11: Today on 11/09/2023 ICDS Rangat, PHC Billi Ground with the active support of Gram Panchayat Shivapuram Organised RASHTRIYA POSHAN MAAH “2023 with the Theme “SUPOOSHIT BHARAT,SAKSHAR BHARAT, SASKHAT BHARAT” at Shivapuram Community Hall Under Gram Panchayat Shivapuram. The programme was attended by large number of villagers and PRI members, Anganwadi worker, Asha worker, Medical staffs and other prominent persons of Shivapuram village and the programme arranged by Mrs. Abhiyanti xalxo ANM and Mr. Kulwinder Singh MHW in the presence of Mr. Venkateswar Rao, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shivapuram, Ward member Mr. M.Briju.
The program started as per the Indian culture by lighting the lamp by the guests. After that the Health Educator Mr. Surender singh of PHC Billi Ground explained in detail about the Poshan diets and also showed vegetables and fruits and explained about the minerals and nutrition.
After this, the Chief Guest Pradhan addressed all the people and gave information to the people about the theme of Rashtriya Poshan Maah and that the Central Government has been making Poshan Maah for from last Six years and its benefits and also thanked Andaman & Nicobar Administration for implanting all Central Sponsored Scheme at the grass root level.
After this, health check-up was done by the medical team and blood pressure and blood sugar check up were also done to the people.
