Children’s Day 2023 Celebration at CRC A&N Islands by TAAN & BRW Entertainments

Port Blair, Nov 16: Composite Regional Centre – A&N Islands organised Children’s Day with the Divyanjans of CRC-A&N Islands on 14th November 2023, in collaboration with Tourism Association of Andaman & Nicobar (TAAN) and renowned cultural musical organization of A&N-Islands, the BRW Entertainments with great enthusiasm and joy. The event took place in the centre’s premises, where children with disabilities, their parents, and the centre’s staff actively participated.

The programme was enlightened with the presence of The Chief Guest Mrs. Ranjana Deshwal, Secretary, GA/Power/CS & CS A&N-Administration, The Guest of Honour Mr. Arshdeep Singh, Dysp SDPO, Bamboo Flat South Andaman, A&N Police, and the Special Guest Mrs. Sheela Singh, National Executive Member, BJMM & Ex-Chairperson PBMC.

The celebration began with the warm welcome speech by Mr. Mohammed Shabbir Hussain, President “TAAN” 

Mrs. Ranjana Deshwal, Secretary, GA/Power/CS & CS A&N-Administration, addressing the importance of inclusivity and providing equal opportunities for children with disabilities. This set the tone for the day’s events, focusing on empowerment and fun for the children.

Mr. Arshdeep Singh, Dysp SDPO, Bamboo Flat South Andaman, A&N Police has showed his gratitude for attending such a wonderful event and appreciated the programme and activities carried out at CRC.

Mrs. Sheela Singh, National Executive Member, BJMM & Ex Chairperson PBMC have appreciated the confidence and the zeal of the Divyangjan children’s and also encourage the work of TAAN, BRW Entertainment & CRC for organising such a heart-warming event.

Mr. T.Y.Abid, lecturer physiotherapy and Officer In charge, CRC highlighted the activities of the centre & and thanked the team for giving the Divyangjan children a delightful & energising evening on their special days.

Various events were planned for the children’s entertainment and engagement, the BRW entertainments, entertains the children with their flawless songs. A special highlight of the celebration was the cultural program performed by the Divyangjan children as a colourful fancy dress show on the peppy song performed by the Senior Artist of A&N Islands, Mr. Waahid Shah and group dance, where the children have actively participated. The staff and volunteer’s students from Pondicherry University assisted the children throughout the activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. The parents of the children also actively participated in the event, enjoying the festivities alongside their kids. They appreciated the efforts of the centre and thanked the staff for organizing such a memorable Children’s Day celebration.

As a token of gratitude CRC- A&N Islands provided momentous alongwith a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Mohammed Shabbir Hussain, President “TAAN”, Mr. Waahid Shah, Director, BRW Entertainment & Ex. Sub Inspector A&N Police (IRBn) Shihan: M.S. MURUGAN, Founder & Grand Master, Global Academy of Modern Fitness for their volunteer service and support for the development of CRC-A&N Islands. Gifts are also being provide to all the Divyangjans attended the programme by the TAAN & BRW Entertainments along with a delightful box of snacks.

Overall, the Children’s Day celebration at the Composite Regional Centre was a grand success. It not only brought joy to the children but also created awareness about the abilities and talents of children with disabilities. The centre’s commitment to inclusivity and providing a nurturing environment for these children was evident throughout the event. It was truly an evening filled with laughter, happiness, and a celebration of the incredible potential in every child.

Finally, Mr.Waahid Shah, Director, BRW Entertainment proposed the vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and the gathering.
