Port Blair, Jan 10: On 08th January 2023, Swachh Andaman Abhiyan With Friends (SAAF) conducted cleanliness drive in Collaboration with Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC), Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI), Allu Arjun Army Andaman (AAAA), Sree Sakthivel Murugan Youth Club (SSMYC), Yuva Bharat Samaj Seva Charitable (YBSSCT), True Vision Foundation, Ration Rasheed Foundation, Human Helping Animals and Walk For Plastic at New Fish Landing Jetty, Junglighat.
During this drive, all volunteers participated with a futuristic thought and total 09 bags of garbage were collected from FLC Jetty, Junglighat which consisted of all types of mixed garbage like plastics materials, Alcoholic bottles, Juice bottles, Water bottles, Gutka wrappers etc.
Ocean sustainability is only the path of global prosperity. Cleanliness is the responsibility of every citizen of this country for healthy living and their green future generation. Volunteers raised slogans with great enthusiasm and patriotism like Clean Andaman -Green Andaman at the end of the event.
