Port Blair, Sept 05: As a part of celebration “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” for commemorating 75 years of Independence Day, Fit India Freedom Run was conducted by No.1 (A&N) Indep Inf Coy NCC unit at South Andaman from Subhas Chandra Bose Flag Post to science Centre on 04 Sep 2021. The run was performed by 50 NCC cadets of senior division, Senior Wing and Junior Division of Army. Similarly the fit India Freedom Run was also organized at Campbell Bay, Diglipur and Rangat by the Junior Division NCC cadets of Govt. School overall 60 NCC cadets participated in the Fit run.
Altogether 110 army NCC cadets participated in the Run. This fit India Run was planned to encourage ANOs, Cadets band NCC Officers to take up fitness activities.
