Port Blair, July 27: Living on the Edge, an NGO, has been informed by public that as many as seventeen patients, who are undergoing dialysis at GBPH Port Blair, needs permanent AV FISTULA to be implanted for ease of dialysis.
The NGO has now requested the MP to do the necessary so that a vascular surgeon may visit GBPH Port Blair and does the procedure here otherwise all these patients have to visit mainland for the permanent implants which will be very difficult physically and financially during this Pandemic period.
