Port Blair, Nov 09: Mahindra Powerol becomes the largest power backup provider for Telecommunications sector in Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Mahindra Powerol dealer ANEMCO PVT LTD. is officially the largest power backup provider for Jio & Airtel telecom towers in A&N Islands, and is currently providing power backup to 140 towers, and in future is designated for more than 300 towers.
Mahindra Powerol entered the Telecom industry of these islands only a year ago and in a short term grew to be the largest power backup provider in Telecom sector. It is also a proud moment that the entire team of technicians is locally recruited from Government colleges such as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Polytechnic. Mr. Ashique Valentine a tribal, who hails from Katchal Island, heads the Telecom Service team.
Despite heavy power cuts in recent days, the team gave its best to provide power supply in various Telecom towers of these islands in difficult terrains with minimum downtime, just to keep the telecommunications running.
