Port Blair, June 17: Today a massive jungle search was conducted under the command of Inspector Mr. Pritam Behari, SHO and his team of PS Rangat under the very close supervision of Mr. Vichitra Veer, IPS, SP NMA and with the direction of Mr. Hukma Ram, Dysp, Rangat Sub division.
During this search total 12 tins fully fermented Lahan containing approximately 180 Liters and 05 empty tins and 03 Bhatti have been recovered in the jungle of Shyamkund village at Bakultala area under Rangat Tehsil. All the recovered Lahan, articles and 3 Bhatties have been destroyed on the spot.
Women and social workers of the region have lauded the efforts of PS Rangat.
