Port Blair, Jun 03: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Car Nicobar organized Block level Cycle Rally on 03rd June 2022 from CWC ground to Priyadarshini Hall, Tamaloo as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in which 60 cyclists have participated in the rally.
Mr. Anand Vardhan Mishra, (Danics), Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Car Nicobar was the chief guest and he flagged the rally. In his address, the chief guest highlighted the day and emphasized the daily use of the bicycle for physical fitness.
On the occasion, other guests Mr. K. Paul, 1st Captain, Perka Village, Mr. Ahmed Ali, General Secretary, Nicobari Athletic Association, Car Nicobar and Mr. Mangal Bhagat, Yoga Instructor, BJR Hospital, Car Nicobar was also present.
Ms. MA Stephila, National Youth Volunteer welcomed the chief guest and briefed them about the day. Participants carried placards, and tricolour flags with their bicycles during the rally.
