Port Blair, Jun 03: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Diglipur has celebrated World Bicycle Day 2022 as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by organizing Bicycle Rally on 30th June 2022 from Vivekananda Stadium to Madhupur Panchayat and back.
In the programme 18 male and 02 female youth have participated from Subashgram, R.K. Gram, Madhupur, Sitanagar, Navin Nagar and Khudirampur.
The Rally was flagged off by Mr. Dipankar Mistry, Pramukh Panchyat Samiti Diglipur. Before flagging off, District Youth Officer, NYK, Diglipur welcomed Pramukh as well as all the participants and briefed them about World Bicycle Day.
He spoke about the importance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the freedom fighters of India. At the end of the Rally, District youth Officer NYK, Diglipur gave a Vote of Thanks to all the participants and guests.
