Ration Rasheed Expresses gratitude to PBMC for their Swift and timely action

Port Blair, Apr 04: As on Friday cyclonic rain brought a much needed respite to the Islanders from scorching summer, but also brought waste/foreign substances, which choked drains/nallahs of many low lying areas of Haddo.
Keeping in view of the hazardous situation it may create, the Port Blair Municipal Council swung into early and timely action under the guidance of Smt Anjali Sherawat, IAS, Secretary (PBMC), under the leadership of Mr. Satyajit Naskar Sanitary Inspector and Sanitary workers cleared the roads/ drains and nearby places at Fishermen colony near Haddo jetty and at MES colony, early morning on Saturday.
Mr. MP Abdul Rasheed (Ration Rasheed) social worker on behalf of the residents expressed his sincere gratitude towards the Municipal Council and all the staffs involved in the cleanliness drive, he also urged the local people to cooperate with the workers and be supportive in every aspect for Clean Port Blair
