South Andaman Police Cracked A Burglary Case Within Hours

Port Blair, June 12: Once again the PS Aberdeen Police cracked a burglary case within hours which has reportedly occurred in the ration shop, R.K. Super Market at Mohanpura during night hours on 08/06/2022 by arresting the accused person and recovering stolen property.

The burglary case was reported at the PS on 09/06/2022 morning. As per the complainant, on 08/06/2022 during night hours, some unknown person had broken into his ration shop, R.K. Super Market at Mohanpura and taken away Rs 12,000 cash and two Samsung mobile phones. Upon this, an FIR was registered and investigation taken up by SI Rangaswamy of the PS. A team was constituted consisting of SI Rangaswamy (IO), HC Sunil Singh Yadav, PC S.N Rao, PC Sandeep Lakra, PC Sonu Yadav, PC/406 S N Pathak and PC Shiv Kumar under the supervision of Inspr. K Joju, SHO PS Aberdeen for the search of the accused and stolen property. The team swung into action without losing any time and working professionally, nabbed the accused namely NitishKarmakar S/o Sh. Nitai Chandra Karmakar (26) yrs R/o Billiground, Harinagar within hours from a hotel of Babuline, Aberdeen Bazar, recovered the stolen money and mobile phone. He was previously involved in one other theft case of PS Pahargaon. The entire investigation took place under the overall supervision of Sh. Abhishek Gupta, SDPO, S/A.
