Port Blair, Mar 06: On 05th March 2023, Our Samaj Seva Teams Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI), Allu Arjun Army Andaman (AAAA), Sree Sakthivel Murugan Youth Club (SSMYC) alongwith government organizations i.ePort Blair Municipal Council (PBMC), Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Port Blair conducted Swachh Sagar-Surakshit Sagar Safai Abhiyan at Marina Park Beach, Port Blair, in presence of Mr. Naresh Chander Lal, Padmashri Awardee, Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission, A&NI and Mr. V. Narayan Prakash Naidu, Chairman of International Human Right & Crime Control Council (A&N Islands).
The drive was graced by Mr. Naresh Chander Lal, Padmashri Awardee, Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission, A&NI. Before conclusion, he interacted with the volunteers and addressed to volunteers about avoid Plastic.
During this drive, 24 Volunteers including childrens also were participated with a futuristic thought and total 10 bags of garbage were collected from Marina Park Beach, Port Blair which consisted all type of mixed garbage like plastics materials, 137 Alcoholic bottles, Juice bottles, Water bottles, tetra packs and plastic bags followed by waste Plastic rope etc.
Volunteers was raised slogans with great enthusiasm and patriotism like Swachh Sagar-Surakshit Sagar and Bharat Mata ki Jai at end of the event.
