Port Blair, July 05: The team of Kesaria Hindu Vahini Trust, A & N Islands, yesterday celebrated Vanmohotsav by planting trees in the new campus of ANIIMS.
The project was conducted in collaboration with ANIIMS, Andaman Avians Club and Dept. of Environment and Forest.
The plantation drive was conducted observing all Covid 19 protocols. The event will continue this complete month of July, as a target of 3000 saplings is to be achieved.
A regular maintenance will also be conducted by all the bodies involved. In the same function, KHV A & N Islands sponsored a Professional Boxer, Mr. Bikram Pariyar, who is leaving for Mumbai to participate in All Star Boxing Championship 2021, conducted by Marine Pro Boxing Promotions. He will be representing our Islands, a release from Mr. Diptendu Dasgupta, State President KHV said here.
