Port Blair, Jul 03: State Control Room, Directorate of Disaster Management, A&N Administration issued a Weather warning over the A&N Islands received from IMD Kolkata.
It is informed that on 04th and 05th June 2022, Heavy Rain (7-11 cm) with thunderstorms and lightning with gusty wind (30-40 kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands.
Due to squally weather with wind speed exceeding 40 kmph likely to prevail over Andaman Sea and A&N Islands, Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast till 05th June 2022.
No Port Warning was issues.
