Port Blair, Oct 14: 1 A&N INDEP INF COY,NCC Port Blair is conducting a 10 days Annual Training Camp at Andaman College, Chakragaon for NCC cadets of A&N Island from 12 Oct 2018 to 21 Oct 2018. Approx 300 cadets (Army & Air Force) from various islands alongwith respective ANOs are participating in the camp. The cadets will be trained to handle real life situations independently.
The NCC Motto ‘Unity and Discipline ’will be the main focus during the camp. During the camp the cadets will be given a brief exposure to the schedule of the armed forces in the field. Besides the exposure to military life the cadets will be taken to the Army & Naval units for an introduction to the various equipment/weapons/aircraft being used. Various social service activities like costal clean up and tree plantation etc will be undertaken by the cadets, as part of the camp curriculum.
