Port Blair, Oct 14: In view of Road Safety, Traffic Police conducted Road Safety Awareness Classes in Neil and Havelock Island from 05/10/2018 to 06/10/2018 respectively.
Total 125 school children from the Govt. Senior Secondary School, Neil Island and 130 from Govt. Senior Secondary School, Havelock Island attended the lecture and 72 Commercial Drivers also attended the lecture on respective islands and got benefited from the lectures.
They were informed about the traffic rules and regulations, as well as were made familiar with the Traffic signals, road signs etc.
Further, Traffic Police will be conducting Road Safety Awareness in schools, Colleges and other institutions to create awareness about traffic rules and regulations.
