Port Blair, Sept 26: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat in collaboration with Gram Panchayat, Uttara and Netaji Club, Uttara observed birthday of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya on 25th September,2018 at Gram Panchayat, Uttara in which 50 youths and villagers of the nearest area participated. On the occasion Smti Saraswati Bawali, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Uttara was the chief guest. Other dignatries Shri Tarango Dhali, State Vice President,BJP, A&N Islands, Shri Jyotirmoy Bawali, President,State Kisan Morcha, and Shri Paritosh Mondal, Sarpanch, GP, Uttara were also present on the occasion. The chief guest paid homage to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya by garlanding to the portrait. Other dignataries as well as participants also paid floral tribute. On the occasion Shri Tarango Dhali highlighted about the vision and contribution of Pt.Deendayal Upadhyaya.and Shri Paritosh Mondal spoke about his life and philosophy. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Shri Paritosh Mondal, President,Netaji Club, Uttara.
